Check into Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, by travelling through the “25 de Abril” suspension bridge, above which rises the majestic statue of Christ the King, as if embracing the city.
Next, visit the district of Belem, home to the most famous monastery of the country the “Mosteiro do Jeronimos”, where the remains of Vasco da Gama and King Manuel I are buried, the Belem Tower, a symbol of Lisbon, and a monument to Pioneers.
Moving on to the center of the city: the Commerce Square, the Rossio, the Avenida da Liberdade. Free time for lunch in town. Return to the Algarve over the Vasco da Gama Bridge (17 km).
